Case Study · Germany

3,000 Wall Batteries a Year, Zero Warranty Claims

A German home-storage brand needed a 51.2V 100Ah wall unit at 3,000 units per year, fully documented for CE and the EU Battery Regulation — in a European market that installed more than 1 million new home storage systems and 27.1 GWh during 2025 alone. The program runs on four controls:

  • Cell platform — EVE LF280K-family A-grade cells, every incoming lot verified with capacity and internal-resistance reports (≤0.25 mΩ grade cells).
  • Process control — cells sorted into ≤20 mV matching groups, laser-welded busbars, 7-day full-charge aging, then a 100% end-of-line capacity check on every unit.
  • Compliance file — UN38.3 test summary, MSDS, CE conformity and Battery Regulation 2023/1542 documentation traveling with every shipment.
  • Outcome — 18 months in the field with zero warranty claims; the program now covers the brand's full 5.12 kWh wall line.

Program Feedback

What Program Owners Report

"The spec sheet they returned read like our own engineering brief — a 41–58.4V window, 100A charge current, protocol mapping for our inverter fleet. Samples matched the datasheet on every point we measured."

Engineering lead · German ESS brand

"Sixteen modules, one cabinet, one SNMP view. The 81.92 kWh build replaced VRLA strings that were on a three-year replacement treadmill — the lifecycle math sold itself to our end users."
