RV and caravan is a conversion story, not a sales story: the battery market is growing from $3.8B in 2025 toward $6.7B by 2034, yet 81.5% of it is still lead-acid. Industry bodies now document manufacturers redesigning vehicles to drop lead-acid hydrogen venting altogether — the front-install lithium window is open. A lead-acid house battery bank survives 300–500 cycles and surrenders half its nameplate capacity to depth-of-discharge limits — so builders oversize the bank, carry the weight, and still field winter complaints about batteries that sat flat for a season. LiFePO4 inverts each line: 4,000-plus cycles at 95% usable depth, roughly one-third the weight, and no watering or ventilation schedule. With 81.5% of the market still on lead-acid, the first brands to standardise lithium on the line get a durable spec advantage.
- Cycle-life economics — 4,000–15,000 cycles against 300–500 means the lithium bank outlives the vehicle's finance term instead of the warranty term.
- Usable capacity — 95%+ DoD versus 50%: a single 100Ah lithium delivers the usable energy of two lead-acid units and sheds the second box from the bay.
- Winter builds — low-temperature charge cutoff as standard, self-heating variants charging through −20 °C for cold-market and off-season packages.
- Owner expectations — Bluetooth SOC in every battery answers the most common dealer support call before it is made.
